The measurements taken by Romania to adhere to European Union became a national priority in the last years. In this context, fulfilling minorities’ rights constitutes one of the most important political criteria in politics negotiations adherence. Romania was individualized by an anti-discrimination strategy in the summer of 2002 when an institution was established to put it in practice. All these measurements allowed ethnic minorities to express their own identity in the Romanian society.
