This paper explores recent advancements in understanding resilience among survivors of domestic abuse and intimate partner violence, focusing on three key perspectives. First, it examines resilience through five definitional frameworks: ecology-oriented, outcome-oriented, process-oriented, socio-ecological, and trait-oriented. Second, it analyses resilience factors specific to women survivors of intimate partner violence, categorized into "I have," "I am," and "I can" dimensions and further delineated across individual, relational, and contextual levels. Third, it investigates the primary determinants, drivers, and supports of resilience in domestic violence survivors, highlighting psychological, social, and spiritual resources. The paper concludes by emphasizing the ongoing lack of consensus regarding the definitions, factors, and determinants of resilience, underscoring the need for further research to unify theoretical and practical approaches in this critical area.
