Violence in Family. A Problematic of Social Awareness

Violence is not a recent issue regarding the dynamics of family relations; thought, the novelty lies in the fact that the transfer of the problem of violence from the private sector of the family is lead towards the status of a social problem with social consequences and costs. In the last three decades, the research regarding violence in families lies in the following issues: social awareness of the involved aspects regarding the problematic of violence; the identification of the internal and external family conditions that determine and facilitates violence development or ending; the subscription of the violence over family members in the register of social problems and comprehensive sanctions for the perpetrators in many laws around the world.
