This article summarises the literature on the social implications of the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic published from March to October 2020. The authors focus on the terminology specific to the topic (consequence, effect, implication, ramification, repercussion, result, and reverberation). Drawing the conclusion that this pandemic has long-lasting psycho-social implications at a global scale, the authors analyse the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic on specific social categories (low socio-economic status people, women, poor children, the elderly, and the homeless), as well as on household welfare, people’s health, and social norms, and at individual level.
