In the last decade, bullying has been a subject for small campaigns and a few studies, none of them attracting the attention the subject needs. While bullying has just been recognized in the Romanian legislation (in December 2018 the law proposal has been approved with a large majority by the Romanian Senate, the decisional chamber in this case), few efforts could be seen in this area. Therefore, this article aims to provide a synthesis of data on bullying in educational settings, which can be used as a base for public policies and campaigns addressing the issue, and also for future research.
