Television occupies a significant role in educating children often being in competition with the traditional institutions – family and school – and even from its occurrence a justified continuous agitation formed around the issue of this means of communication over adult and especially children audience. Most of the authors who study the means of mass communication stress upon the television importance due to its significant characteristics: high accessibility – unlike other new communication technologies with small amount of users – and attractiveness – combination of images and sound makes it more attractive than radio.
