This study is a strictly academic examination of human fragility, has been defined and
commented upon in Romanian anthropology. We will analyze the ideas about human fragility for thinkers whose writings are more compatible with a 21st century ethics: Tudor Vianu, Mihail Ralea, D.D. Roşca and Mircea Vulcãnescu.
