Romanian labour force will be dramatically transforming in the process of European integration. Aimed towards a good knowledge of reality on labour force, especially the knowledge of the present and future changes of the occupational system structure, the study was initiated by the Ministry of Labor, Family and Social Protection. The research was done by the National Scientific Research Institute For Labour and Social Protection with the support of CURS – Center for Urban and Regional Sociology. The financing of the project was based on a loan from the World Bank.
