In the complex landscape of societal challenges, youth delinquency remains a pressing issue that calls for nuanced understanding and intervention. Factors contributing to this phenomenon are multiple, intertwining elements such as socioeconomic status, familial relationships, and educational opportunities. As adolescents navigate the turbulent waters of identity formation and peer influence, the risk of engaging in delinquent behavior escalates, often driven by a desire for acceptance or escape from adverse circumstances. This paper will delve into the intricate interplay between risk and resilience, aiming to illuminate effective strategies for prevention and intervention in the lives of at-risk youth. The concept of resilience emerges as a crucial theme in examining youth delinquency, suggesting that not all young people exposed to similar risk factors succumb to negative behaviors. By exploring the protective factors and supportive environments that foster resilience, we can better comprehend the dynamics of youth delinquency, highlighting pathways to positive development.
