Probably the most important objective of the present Government is to get Euro-Atlantic integration and legislative synchronizing; adopting community norms represent the first step. Therefore, we must highlight the importance of alternative sanctions and measures against imprisonment, the appliance of a new penal philosophy that targets the victim-perpetrator mediation, also integration in the Romanian legislation of the modern principles of restorative justice.
