I worked in the field of international social work and international social development for the past 13 years, participating in international projects with the Anglia Polytechnic University/Cambridge, UK, University of Umea - Sweden, Hogeschool Sittard/the Netherlands. I also coordinated an international site of the AU International Development Program for 5 years, and taught intensive courses in International Development, in Ukraine, Italy, and Japan.
I also developed a career in higher education, and intend to continue working with students involved in international development and social work.
My goal is to get more involved and address women's issues as they affect development, globally. My special interest in this area is violence against women, and respectively comparative policies addressing violence against women.
