The tendencies of the growth of juvenile delinquency phenomena in different countries, including Romania, represents a problematic aspect whose effects cannot be ignored neither by jurists sociologists, psychologists nor by the factors with responsibility positions in order to identify the causes and conditions that generates juvenile delinquency in social-cultural contexts, as well as the elaboration of certain social and penal prevention and juvenile treatment for the youngsters that committed penal acts, bearing in mind that applying imprisonment and implicitly the total freedom deprivation of juvenile delinquents is considered as an ultimate solution for severe acts.
